{"id":4445,"date":"2022-11-14T11:14:37","date_gmt":"2022-11-14T10:14:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vvaconsultants.com\/estoy-on-fire\/"},"modified":"2026-04-27T17:41:21","modified_gmt":"2026-04-27T15:41:21","slug":"estoy-on-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vvaconsultants.com\/en\/estoy-on-fire\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00a1Estoy on fire!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n<p>Hoy hablaremos de un tema bastante frecuente entre los trabajadores y que afecta de manera significativa a la organizaci\u00f3n y a la sociedad, esto es, el \u2018Burnout\u2019 o s\u00edndrome de quemarse por el trabajo.<\/p><p>Cristina Maslach define este s\u00edndrome como una reacci\u00f3n psicol\u00f3gica al estr\u00e9s laboral cr\u00f3nico. Es decir, el permanecer constantemente ante una serie de estresores que provocan al trabajador un <strong>estado emocional de agotamiento<\/strong>, as\u00ed como una <strong>idea de fracaso laboral<\/strong> y una <strong>actitud negativa hacia las personas <\/strong>que reciben sus servicios. Situaciones que cumplan con estas caracter\u00edsticas pueden darse de vez en cuando, el problema viene cuando esto ocurre d\u00eda tras d\u00eda. <\/p><p>Imag\u00ednese la repercusi\u00f3n que podr\u00eda tener un enfermero que no tenga empat\u00eda por los pacientes, que los trate como m\u00e1quinas. Ahora vu\u00e9lvalo a imaginar, pero con toda la plantilla de enfermeros del hospital, los pacientes podr\u00edan perder la confianza en ellos, produciendo incluso malas expectativas en su mejora en la salud.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/vva.wbasecsm.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/founders-image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2320\"><\/figure><p> <em>\u00bfQu\u00e9 podemos hacer para prevenirlo?<\/em> O, una vez ya se ha establecido <em>\u00bfC\u00f3mo podemos intervenir en \u00e9l?<\/em><\/p><p>Pedro R. Gil-Monte y Jos\u00e9 M\u00aa Peir\u00f3 nos dan algunas pistas en su art\u00edculo \u2018Perspectivas te\u00f3ricas y modelos interpretativos para el estudio del s\u00edndrome de quemarse por el trabajo\u2019.<\/p><p>En primer lugar, podemos fijarnos en la competencia profesional que percibe el trabajador y la autoconfianza que posee en s\u00ed mismo. Es decir, si percibe tener o no los recursos necesarios para poder realizar las tareas y la creencia de poder ejecutarlas con \u00e9xito. Estos caracter\u00edsticas son fundamentales para luchar y prevenir contra la <strong>idea de fracaso en el trabajo<\/strong>. Si el enfermero de antes percibe tener las competencias necesarias para ejercer bien su puesto y, adem\u00e1s, conf\u00eda en su eficacia para hacerlo, se sentir\u00e1 realizado. Si ocurriese lo contrario, la organizaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda hacer una formaci\u00f3n al enfermero o cambiarlo por otro puesto que se ajuste m\u00e1s a \u00e9l, todo ello aumentar\u00eda la percepci\u00f3n de poder ser eficaz en el trabajo.<\/p><p>Por otra parte, para prevenir el <strong>agotamiento emocional<\/strong> y las <strong>actitudes negativas hacia los dem\u00e1s<\/strong>, se han demostrado que el apoyo social de los compa\u00f1eros y el conflicto de rol son cruciales.<\/p><ul><li>Respecto al primero, sencillamente trata de explicar que las amistades en el trabajo pueden amortiguar la sensaci\u00f3n de estr\u00e9s. Dicho de otra manera, si cree que sus compa\u00f1eros no le dan mucho soporte o no le llenan, procura establecer otras amistades r\u00e1pidamente. Si esto no fuera posible, la organizaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda implementar programas de bienestar para promover sentimientos de pertenencia al equipo, como podr\u00eda ser poner una mesa de pingpong, talleres de cocina o deporte en conjunto, de entre otras alternativas, creando espacios para las relaciones sociales.<\/li><li>Respecto al conflicto de rol, se da cuando las demandas laborales no son entre s\u00ed compatibles o congruentes para realizar el trabajo. Dado el caso, la organizaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda mejorar la comunicaci\u00f3n con sus empleados para cambiar sus percepciones, porque todo ello no deja de ser creencias de uno mismo, as\u00ed que, mejor no dejar espacio a malentendidos. Tambi\u00e9n se podr\u00eda promover canales de comunicaci\u00f3n ascendente, es decir, facilitar que los trabajadores puedan hacer llegar sus preocupaciones hacia los y las directivas.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Comentarios finales<\/strong><\/p><p>Puede que sea demasiado tarde cuando identifique que su organizaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 quemada porque ya se est\u00e9 produciendo el aumento de rotaci\u00f3n del personal, bajo rendimiento o renuncia silenciosa, entre otros. De modo que, creemos que la mejor intervenci\u00f3n es aquella que previene de todos esos males.
